Vilamoura's Marina Extension

(Introduction)

A working marina never stops moving, and the imagery earns its place beside the real thing.

(The Project)

Developed with Ortiz León Arquitectos, the Vilamoura Marina Extension sets out a bold vision for one of the Algarve's most iconic destinations. Sustainability lies at its heart: modular timber construction and BREEAM certification underpin flexible retail and dining spaces and terraces open to the sea.

(Our Approach)

Our role was to produce high-fidelity CGI grounded in detailed research and precise 3D modeling, including an accurate representation of boats. This level of rigor was essential to creating visuals that not only captured technical reality but also conveyed the vitality of a working marina.

(The Craft)

The process was an exercise in balance: precision in structure and materiality paired with art direction attuned to light, rhythm, and scale. The resulting images were designed to do more than document the architecture — they immerse the viewer in the experience of being there, from strolling shaded promenades to watching water reflections and sensing the marina's constant movement.

(Final thoughts)

On water, credibility is everything, down to every hull and every reflection.
