(The Project)
The reconstruction of Lyon's State Administrative Centre stands at the heart of La Part-Dieu, a dense quarter of offices, commerce, and transit under ambitious renewal. The programme called for a contemporary workplace for public services, conceived around daylight, landscape, and public reception.

(Our Approach)
Momentum produced the competition imagery for AIA Architectes' proposal across two phases of the tender. Eye-level exteriors situate the architecture within the mineral density of Part-Dieu, while interior views of a restaurant, a reception hall and workspaces convey the everyday experience the design set out to create.

(The Craft)
For the second phase, the still imagery was refined and extended into a three-minute animation moving from aerial approach to exterior presence to interior life. Competition work of this kind demands speed without compromise, since every frame meets a jury's scrutiny while carrying the clarity of the architects' intent.
(Final thoughts)
Competitions are won on the first impression. That is what we were hired to build.
